Bottom post of the previous page:

...IF THEY THINK THEY'RE A VICTIM NOW...

wait until the Dawgs get through taking out their own frustrations on the semenholes.

Fla. St. will have only 1 scholly qb for the Bowl Game with GA. A true freshman.
Expect a massive beat down by Kirby's team.

Not sure how relevant this is .. back during the first couple of rounds of realignment ... a friend of mine ( who passed 4 years ago) his wife worked for the Athletic dept on the financial side. Anyway, like 2012 maybe 2013 he told me they had his wife do a bunch of cost analysis for adding FSC and Clemson to the schedule and what the travel would be for going out there for basketball, Softball etc ... it looked like adding them to the B12 was 'imminent' . I asked him a couple weeks later what was up. He said they told her to scrap it. FSU backed out. They didn't want to have to play potentially OU and or Texas every year. I'm guessing we would've had divisions again etc ... They were trying to push the ACC to a long term contract for stability. They made their own bed.

She went through the same thing studying travel costs out to the west coast when all the OU / Texas to the PAC was going on.

National Champeenship Commitee made the right call by leaving FSU out of the playoff. I'm glad they shut UGA out, but I think they should have been in, and txass be eliminated...FWIW

(txas should have had to pay a price for losing to 2-loss OU)

Winning (or losing in the case of Ga) your CCG has always been a key criteria in which teams get to the playoff……

The CC committee has always had a fetish for quality losses.. UT beat Bama, OU Beats UT ... then its almost like you get brownie points for the 'quality' loss vs a win.

I guess that's why undefeated ACC champ FSU didn't make it. They didn't have any quality losses. :D

This matchup was absolutely intentional.
When Georgia blows them out, the Final Four choices will be validated.
Also, a reward (of sorts) for Ga for being left out.
I, too, believe FSU didn't belong and Georgia did belong.
Not sure who should have been left out - Texas beat Bama; Bama beat Georgia.
Georgia had only one loss and it was the best quality loss without argument.

The vote for OU and UT was 14-0. I'm sure Sankey was the driving force because he realizes that this all about money.

The vote was 14-0 when aTm clearly was against Texas joining.
It is clearly about money.
And, it appears, being in the SEC is about toeing the company line.

Everybody conveniently forgot that Alabama should have had two losses.
Auburn had them beaten and only had to stop one more play (it was 4th and goal from past the 30 yard line) to walk off the field with a win. However, their DB had a brain fart and gave up a TD pass.
And I still think Georgia would beat Alabama 2/3 of the time if they played multiple games.

Yup, the aggies were definitely against the whorns getting in and they had agreed with Slive that they would be able to utilize the "Gentleman's Agreement". Sankey taking over ended that "Gentleman's Agreement" and the only way to keep the whorns out was to use the SEC Bylaws.....so the aggies tried to get Misery and Arkie to join them in blocking the whorns. But as you see, something changed because the vote 14-0 and not 13-1 or even 12-2. I think that something was Sankey! I don't believe he wanted to see any fracture in the SEC Alliance.....and as you pointed out.....It's all about the money!

The people who said FSU has to be in the 4-team playoff bc undefeated p5 champ were not wrong. Neither were the people who said “but the game would stink on ice”
