The Oklahoma Women Gymnastics Team perform very well at the Metroplex meet defeating Washington, Stanford and Denver while posting a 198.175 score.

Here is the review article by staff writers.

Sorry for being MIA the past few days. I'm in OKC awaiting the arrival of my second grandson. Of course the weather is reminding me of one of the reasons I moved away from Oklahoma.

Several takeaways from this meet:
  • Our highest vault score of the year: 49.550
  • The only rotation below our average for the year was floor, and it was 0.004 below our average. So it was a good meet all around.
  • Our meet average is now 197.686.
  • Danielle Sievers has given a boost to our vault lineup. And Kat LaVasseur returned after missing one meet.
  • We are consistently excellent on the bars. And our lineup rarely changes.
  • As long as we don't have two athletes fall, our beam scores are outstanding. Unfortunately, that's happened in 3 of our 7 meets. But not Saturday.
  • Outside of a fall in the first meet, Ragan Smith's lowest score on the beam is 9.95.
  • Audrey Davis and Jenna Dunn have been consistently good on beam all year.
  • Olivia Trautman was in the beam rotation for her first time back and casually scored a 9.90 like she'd been there the whole time.
  • Jordan Bowers did not compete on the beam for the first time this year
  • On floor, Jordan Bowers has not scored below 9.90 all year
