Sooners Host MPSF Championships at McCasland on Saturday at 2 PM

Oklahoma competes for its 28th conference championship, and first since 2021, on Saturday, as the second-ranked Sooners play host to the MPSF Championship at McCasland Field House in Norman, Okla. The meet, featuring OU, No. 1 Stanford, No. 8 California and No. 10 Air Force, is set to begin at 2 p.m. Doors to McCasland Field House open at 1 p.m.

This is a bit late, but I have not seen anything posted.

Three Sooners claimed individual event championships, but the No. 2 Oklahoma men's gymnastics team finished second to No. 1 Stanford in the MPSF Championship Saturday afternoon at McCasland Field House. OU totaled 418.400 and Stanford totaled 422.700, while No. 8 California placed third with a 405.600 and No. 10 Air Force finished fourth with a 395.450.

The Sooners now look to NCAA Championships, which will be held April 19-20 in Columbus, Ohio. NCAA Championship selections are expected to be announced next week.

Six Gymnasts Earn MPSF All-Conference Honors
April 08, 2024 | Men's Gymnastics

Redshirt sophomore Fuzzy Benas earned All-MPSF honors in the all-around and on still rings, vault and parallel bars. Two-time MPSF floor exercise champion Emre Dodanli received all-conference accolades on floor, while pommel horse champion Ignacio Yockers and horizontal bar champion Kelton Christiansen earned all-conference honors on their respective events. Fifth-year senior Jack Freeman earned all-conference honors on high bar and freshman Max Bereznev was named to the all-conference vault team.
