texas fielding is having the game of their life. They probably won't be able to duplicate again (hopefully at least not tomorrow). They are wanting this win desparately.

Interesting - going with Monticelli here in the bottom of the 6th.

Not sure that was a good plan. Kenney going to give it a try with bases loaded in the bottom of 6th and I think 1 out.

Texas loads the bases, nobody out. It's looking like it Texas' day. Hate to say it, but Patty outcoached herself when she relieved Deal.

texas is the second best batting team behind us. I think we can beat them in OKC 2 out of 3 easy. They are primed for this win for them after so many losses to us.

Agreed - Monticelli isn't ready for this. Deal probably had the best shot to keep things in check.

We got lucky on a hit - a texas runner left early. So texas doesn't score and the runner is out. We get another out, but then Kenney just walked the batter. Bases loaded, bottom of the 6th with 2 outs, texas leading 2-1.

This is a great experience regardless of the outcome. Feels like a WCWS game (although much more of a hostile crowd).

:ou: I think Patty out coached herself when she didn't pull May earlier. Once they got that 3 or 4th hit off May and got the lead, they had all the momentum. I can't stand to watch Texas celebrate and to listen to ladies from ESPN do cheers for Texas. I had to turn it off

Whew! We escaped the inning thanks to a replay of Hansen leaving early yesterday. Horns were guilty this time! Still 2-1, but we need a run!

It may just be texas' night. Every ball we hit seems to be within their reach and they aren't missing anything, unlike their normal fielding miscues.

texas wins after no obstruction is called. It was clutch hitting by Kinzie and Boone - we just needed more of it.

I think that the Horns got some home cookin' on that throw to the plate. Looked like OBSTRUCTION to me!!!
