After two HRs and 2 doubles were logged by Oklahoma in the 2nd, 5th and the 7th innings, the Oklahoma Sooners ran into trouble in the bottom of the 7th inning as they lead 5-3 going into the bottom of the 7th. After a walk and a line drive out to CF, the next nine hitters for OSU reached base safely as they scored 6 runs with the 2nd out of the inning thrown out a home plate in the middle of that string of hitters. When the final out was recorded, after three pitching changes, the score was 9-5 in favor of the Cowboys. That was the game in a nutshell as OSU won over Oklahoma 9-5.
