Oklahoma Men's Gymnastics: Dodanli earns MPSF Specialist Award!

The Oklahoma Sooner Men's Gymnasts, Emre Dodanli won three event titles last weekend in the dual meet against the Air Force Academy in McCasland Field House. Dodanli won all three events in which he competed, scoring higher than 14 in all of them. The junior from Milton, Ontario, posted the highest score of the meet with his 14.750 on floor exercise, then followed with a 14.700 on vault and a 14.050 on the high bar in OU's final event.

For his efforts Dodanli was named the MPSF Specialist of the Week, the MPSF conference office announced Tuesday. Here is the Sooner staff writers article about Dodanli's Award.

For the Sooners, Fuzzy Benes (OU) was nominated for the MPSF GYMNAST OF THE WEEK and Tas Hajdu (OU) was nominated for the MPSF FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK.
