I, for one, am not surprised at this news! I figured he knew his time was over when OU was officially accepted into the SEC, if he was going to go out on top. Just kidding of course.

Now the "Tide" can begin the age old who was their greatest coach - Nick Saban or Bear Bryant? As with Coach Bryant, I have only the best wishes for Coach Saban, in whatever he moves onto from here, unless and until he coaches again and plays OU. I wonder if he'd be open to an analyst job on the Sooner staff?

The 'Bama AD is going to have a stack of applications at least 2' high in the desk. I will be curious to see how long it takes to fill the HC position.
