MacKenzie Donihoo Medically Retiring
Wasn’t sure where to put but she made a great picturesque catch off the wall in one of our titles so figured I’d share

You picked the right place to post this.
So sorry to hear this news. I hope Lou recovers from whatever is the cause for her retirement and has a successful and fulfilling future.
Lou was always a favorite and her dynamic catch in LF during the WCWS was certainly highlight reel spectacular.
Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery Lou!

Yep, two plays mark the 2021 series for me: Alo's home run to put OU up in game two and Lou's catch in left field, banging the ball against the wall, then turning around and unleashing that primal scream. That's forever Sooner.

Lou is forever etched in the fabric that is Sooner softball. I know there were some sore feelings when she got “benched” and then left the program, but I’ll always remember her play throughout the playoffs in 2021.
Best of luck Lou.
Best of luck Lou.

I knew that she had two surgeries after the 2023 season and that she was rehabbing both. I guess things did not work out for her post surgery.TropicalSooner wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2023 12:31 pm You picked the right place to post this.

From what I understand she played with pain in 2021 and in more pain from the 2022 season thru the 2023 season in Tennessee.

I did not know about the surgeries or the pain she was playing through.
