Men and Women Gymnastics Intersquad events @ Sam Viersen Center

Post by OUBeliever56A »

Both the Men and the Women Gymnastics Teams will hold their annual Intersquad events at the Sam Viersen Gymnastics Center on consecutive days this weekend. First up, will be the Women's Team on Friday night at 6:30 PM. The Men's Team will follow on Saturday at 1 PM.

Here are the Sooner staff writers articles about the Intersquad meets.

This year, the Sooner Women Gymnastics Team is partnering with the OU Food Pantry to give back to the Norman community. Admission for the meet is free with a canned or packaged food donation to the food pantry. Fans will also receive a Whataburger coupon for donating. I do not think a canned good is required to attend the Men's Intersquad by reading the article.

For fans planning to attend the intrasquad meet, the Sam Viersen Gymnastics Center is located in Norman, north of the Lloyd Noble Center near the intersection of South Jenkins Avenue and Imhoff Road. (Imhoff and Asp, actually.) Parking is available across Imhoff Rd. in the LNC lot. To protect new carpet and equipment in the recently updated Sam Viersen facility, fans in attendance will be asked to wear provided shoe coverings. The teams are excited to welcome fans to the newly updated Sam Viersen facility.
