One thing that has become painfully obvious since the tejas game is our defense as currently constructed is not sec ready. I don’t know if it’s lack of quality depth or offenses have enough film of our weaknesses and exploit them over and over, but good grief if we consistently struggle to stop TCU, BYU, and OSU, then what will the Alabama’s, Georgia’s, Tennessee’s, and Ole Miss’s going to do to us? Need lots of help in the portal. LOT’S of help.

Injuries injuries

Who’s injured? Seems like most starters played today, no? Stutsman, Williams, Bowman, usual cast of characters as far a I know. Even saw Bowens in on some plays. And even if injuries are a problem, it just reinforces my point. As currently constructed we are not sec ready. SEC has bigger and better players across the conference. If we get injured against tiny 12 teams and don’t have the quality depth to overcome it now, next year will be worse, much worse. We need portal help and a bunch of it.
