Moser is building something here. Still need to see them vs good teams but way better vs bad teams than 1 year ago.

Yeah, the competition hasn't been much in these first two games, but there's absolutely no doubt this year's version is far more athletic than either of Moser's first two teams. I'm not ready to have them vying for the Big 12 championship. After all, Kansas, Houston et al loom but for the first time in a while, OU looks like they may actually be able to compete in the conference. No offense to other recent teams, but I just never had the belief the Sooners were athletic enough to compete in the Big 12 on a night-to-night basis. Yes, they were capable of pulling off a win here or there, but not put together consistent win streaks. It's only been two games against lesser competition so I don't want to get ahead of myself, but as far as the eye test goes, this team certainly appears to be a definite upgrade in talent. They still have a ways to go, but for the first time under Moser, they look like they might be headed in the right direction.
