In Kanak’s defense it would be nice if the officials would be consistent with unsportsmanlike calls. Ethan Downs did the exact same thing two weeks ago, bent over whoofing at Ewers after a sack, and it wasn’t called.

Downs did it immediately after making the plays, Kanak didn't make the tackle himself and leaned down in the runner's face a few moments after the play ended.
And it was OU/Texas, the officials give both teams leeway.

Same. They have 2 big plays on busts but D is playimg fine. Score here and start of 3rd would help.

That’s what I meant when I said the officials need to be consistent. You can’t give leeway one week and then call it a penalty the next.

Coaches and players did not take this game seriously…..Lebby called a bunch of cutesy plays and put in Sawchuck to start and he Failed ending the first possession. Then Kanak gives 7 points yo UCF…. Schmidt is a terrible kicker not just this game but others, need a kicker out of the portal and need him today…..defense gashed for long plays……ugh…..


Lebby needs to stick with Major and Tawhee only as RB for the rest of the year…..

Half-time thoughts...

Offense is not as good as I thought. The receivers are not seperating. Off line is doind good on paas D, but the running game...YIPS or what ever Guy calls it.

The D is very good. Still tackling great, jus a few busts and Gus is the one coach that can exploiate it.

Offense went right down the field on the last two possessions while we were in “hurry up” mode. Maybe need to see more of that in the 2nd half?

Running back production and placekicking continue to disappoint.
