there are a bunch of configuration settings related to images/avatars and I think that they are all bigger here than the old board.
avator size limits -
here 128x128px 15K
old board 128x128px 25K
image limit on both boards 500K
We can make limits bigger if you want. how big do you want it?
maybe you could send me images/avatars that you are having problems with and i can change limits if they exist?

Since this software doesn't allow posting pictures from your hard drive, I'm looking for software options that I can post pictures from. I don't do social media and don't intend to start but I'm sure some of you folks know the best options where I can post an occasional fishing picture and retrieve it to this forum. Any suggestions?

Click on the dropdown by your user name on the top right.
Click the profile option
Click on Edit Profile
Select the Board Preferences tab
Try the Red 2020 option (Looks like the old board)

Tom —. This is in reply to your answer about my previous question. I tried to quote you but I couldn’t get that done. Old dog - has trouble with new tricks. Since you’ve got my horse pig with cheerleaders transfered over here I’ll just stick with it and forget about adding any pictures on this site

Here's a thought 47...Instead of changing avatar's just use the picture as your signature feature. It works. just like this...see below.

One minor question. On phone using Silver SE, when I either start a thread or make a post in one - all the emoticons are listed in the space between the area you type and the function buttons. So if I want to post a picture and need to get to the picture icon to click it - I have to scroll way up thru all emoticons.
Not sure if there is a way to put all emoticons in a group and not be listed by default. Then when needed could click on group header and it populates them? Its probably more amplified on phone than desktop.
If can’t change no worries just a minor observation.
I think that fixed this. now you get about 25 emocions and then the rest are only displayed if you click more the 'view more smilies'
hopefully this works better on the phone especially

So the way that you go to the last post read is to click on the red thing in the first column (under the post subject)

Would it be possible to increase the character limit of the signature block by another 20 characters or so?
