I've long been curious why Brian Kelly left the domers for LSU. I of course would guess it was about money, but I also wonder if he got pretty tired of the harsh late fall and winter weather that they get in northern Indiana.

I admit, I gave up on that game at the half. Was very surprised this morning to see that Stanford won. Went and watched some highlights, and good gravy, another incredible game! OU-Texas*, WV-Houston, and now this one! Stanford WR Elic Ayomanor had 294 receiving yards IN THE SECOND HALF! He had about a 10-yard pass turn into a 97-yd touchdown in the third qtr, but his TD catch in the first OT was ridiculous! He reached over and literally pinned the ball on the back of the defender's helmet inside the 5 and pulled the defender into the end zone for the touchdown. Incredible play. Yeah, that has to be a tough one for the Primers to lose.
I may not always be right, but I'm never wrong!
I started another thread on this, but the question I have about overtime, why did Colorado have the ball first, both overtimes?EMan wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 8:35 am I admit, I gave up on that game at the half. My umderstanding is the teams choose. So Colo took ball first OT (bad mistake IMO). Then Trees get to pick in second OT and took ball second.

The team that loses the coin toss must take the remaining option, with the chance to choose first from the four categories in the second overtime and any future even-numbered overtimes
Opinions are still "OK" ...Correct?

The Winters aren't that bad down there. Just looked and their average temps from December-February is in the mid 30's and they only average around 64 inches of snowfall a year.

Neither KU nor the sheephumpers have any defense to speak of today. Looks like Grinch is coaching both defenses.
