Ludlam hits a low drive to LF and Bland makes a nice diving defensive play for the 3rd out. Good play by Bland. I thought it was Boone when it happened live.

Coleman leads off and hits the first pitch to the LCF wall on the fly for a long single
Hansen flies to RF and Maya Bland not playing RF makes the catch for the first out, Coleman still at 1st
Pickering grounds into a FC to the 3rd baseman (???), who throws to 2nd for the 2nd out, Pickering on first
Didn't catch the next batter but they flied out to end the middle of the inning

Jennings leads off and grounds up the middle and Hodge who is now playing 2nd makes a great play into the hole and throws out Jennings
Parker draws a walk from May
Bland flies out to LCF and Coleman makes the play
May strikes out Nellie M&M to end the last of the 1st

Looks like we are just rotating between May and Maxwell? Still haven't seen Deal and it is the fourth pitching opportunity. May/Maxwell/May/Maxwell so far.

Brito flies out to Pickering in RCF and Pickering makes the play at the warning track, 1 out
Ludlam grounds to Jennings at 2nd and has to go to 1st for the out, Coor advances to 2nd
Boone drives a ball to deep LF and Maya Bland again makes a very nice over the shoulder catch for the 3rd out. Bland has been a defensive star so far!

Coleman batting grounds to Brito who throws her out at 1st, Parker playing 1st made a nice play on the throw to get the out
K9 drives a ball into RF and Bland dives for it, it gets by her and goes to the wall and K9 moves to third


Pickering drives a HOME RUN Over the LCF wall for TWO RUNS for Team 2

Jennings hits a ground ball up the middle and Hodge fields the ball and touches 2nd and then to 1st for the double play

Parker grounds up the middle past Hodge now at 2nd for a base hit
Maya Bland drives a 2 run HOME RUN OVER RCF! She smashed that ball that was up in the zone!

Freshman are looking really good. I really like the way Hodge is playing as well. May and Deal both have given up homers to freshman. Maxwell has given up a hit or two but no runs so far. All pitchers looking pretty solid.

Coor leads off the batting, she grounds to Hodge at SS who makes an errant throw to 1st, Coor heads to 2nd but is thrown out there as Hodge makes the tag (I think Parker was playing 1st but they did a good job of getting to the ball and making the throw to get the out)
Brito HOMERS TO CF and gives Team 1 their 1st score

Boone grounds to Maxwell after a long at bat for the 3rd out
