The Spark now fly across the pond to the U.K. for a two game exhibition series against the Great Britain Senior Nationals Team on Thurs/Friday July 6-7 in the "Royal Spark Challenge". It will be the first time a Professional Softball team has played in the UK. This is part of the preparation for the Gr Britain team's WBSC World Softball Cup to be played in Ireland from July 11 - July 16. The USA will have a team at the Ireland event and Jocelyn Alo from the Spark will be on that team.
The Spark and the Great Britain team will also put on a free Softball Fastpitch clinic.
The possible new Sooner, Paytn Monticelli is playing on the Great Britain National team, so that will be some good experience for her as she gets to throw against our local Professional Softball team.
I hope the Spark have safe travel and show out well over in the UK.

I don't know if we recruited Sherrill out of high school or not. Seems like she wanted to go out of state, but I may not be remembering that correctly.
I'll see if I can find out for sure.

Smoke Sooners? No, I don't think so. They drafted Lyons, but she's not playing softball---went to Fla with hubby.
