Spark Series With the Pride Wrap Up

Post by TropicalSooner »

The OKC Spark swept a 3 game series against the Pride this week, winning the 1st game 7-0 and the next two games by identical scores of 6-3.
The Spark currently are tied for 1st place in the WPF with a 5-0 record.
Current Standings are
OKC Spark 5-0
Tex Smoke 5-0
Alab Vipers 0-4
Fla Pride 0-6

Here is the link to the standings with more information:

Some of the leading hitting stats for the Spark sorted by BA:
Player----------------BA--------OBP-------SLG-------OPS
Chloe Malu'ulu-----.375------.444-------.875-------1.319
Michelle Moultrie-.368-------.429------.947-------1.376
Jocelyn Alo--------.313-------.450-------.625------1.075
Haley Lee----------.308-------.471-------.769------1.240
Sydney Sherrill----.286-------.412-------.571-------.983

The Spark have 12 HRs so far this season led by Moultrie and Leilua with 3 each. Haley Lee has 2.

As far as pitching---the WPF stat pages do not provide for team pitching stats. This is a major disappointment.
They do provide for individual leaders in the league--10 best for IP, ERA, and K's. Anything else would have to be kept by hand from game to game.

Spark Pitching stats, that I have compiled so far are

Chenise Delce 2-0 0.00 ERA--9 K's--10 IP
Donnie Gobourne 1-0 0.00 ERA--5 K's--5 IP
Keilani Ricketts 1-0 1.69 ERA--9 K's--10.2 IP
Keely Rochard 1-0 5.40 ERA--2 K's--5 IP

Not sure how long I can keep up with basic pitching stats by hand.

The Spark now go on the road for a six game stretch--3 games with the Pride in Florida, and then travel to Alabama for a 3 game series with the Vipers before returning home again to start play of their home games at Hall of Fame Stadium for the remainder of the season.

Go Spark!!
