At the very end of the postgame ceremonies, the song "Nobody" by Casting Crowns began to play and the players began singing and moving around the field celebrating their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Speaks more to me than anything else about who this team is. Congratulations to them.

I hesitate to introduce a secular note into a purely religious thread, but the title of it starts a song line in my head, which is the beach boys “wish they all could be California girls”

So proud of the girls for being bold in their faith. What a special group of young women.
