Oklahoma Women's Gymnastics Hosts Regional Action W, TH and Sat!

The #1 Ranked Oklahoma Women's Gymnastics hosts a Regional Meet in the NCAA Format this weekend at Lloyd Noble Center.
The action starts on Wednesday night with a perform-in or play-in match between North Carolina State and Ball State meeting on Wednesday at 2 PM.
On Thursday #8 Alabama, #9 Kentucky, #22 Illinois and #25 will perform at 2 PM on Thursday in one-half of the Regional competition.
The winner in the Wednesday dual match play-in will join Arkansas, #16 Ohio State and #1 Oklahoma Thursday night at 6:45 PM in the other half of the Regionals.
The two top teams in the two Thursday events will perform again on Saturday at 4:45 PM in the Regional Finals.
Several other gymnastics teams have individual gymnasts that will be performing on Thursday in one of the two events.

Coach KJ Kindler said this about the Regionals.
"It's special not only for these women and the student-athletes here, but for all our fans who have the opportunity to come and see this kind of an event with this level of talent," head coach K.J. Kindler said. "Seven teams in the top 25, nine great teams, and some really, really great gymnastics. We're super honored, excited and hoping to fill the stands after our great attendance this year."
The Sooner Woman have performed very well in 2023. Here a salute to the young women that have performed so well this season. Good luck to them on Thursday evening and then on Saturday.

The area around Lloyd Noble this weekend will be very busy.
The Medieval Fair (Renaissance Festival) will be taking place on the east side of south Jenkins from Marita Hynes to the Lloyd Noble Center all weekend.
The Baseball team will be hosting four games Thursday-Sunday.
The Women's Gymnastics will hold regional events at Lloyd Noble on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The Sooner Softball Team will host two games against Texas at Marita Hynes on Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM.
The Women's Tennis Team will also host two events at Headington Field House on Friday and Sunday.
Drive safely in the area and leave early to get there in the traffic that will be heavy with many pedestrians in the areas.
