M & W Track and Field Teams open Outdoors Season in the Bahamas

The strong Oklahoma Men's and Women's Track and Field Teams open the Outdoor season in the Bahamas this weekend on Friday and Saturday.

The Oklahoma Men's and Women's Track and Field Teams competed in the Bahamas Island Relays this weekend. Once again they had impressive results.
Overall, the Women's team won first place with a total of 169 points, while the Men's side took home second with 124 points. Congratulations to the two teams on the their excellent results.

Under the radar of the many Sooner athletic events during the year, the Sooner Track and Field Teams is performing at a very high level. Kudos to tall the track and field athletes that are working hard every week and compteing very successfully.
The Sooners will have a week off before heading to Austin, Texas for the Texas Relays, March 29 – April 1.
