2022 Schedule Note:

Looks like the Sooners will spend the weekend prior (Feb 18-20) to the Mary Nutter Classic in Houston playing against Houston (17-33), McNeese State (35-26) and Texas State (39-14) in 4 games.

I would bet we see Mullins of Texas State while the Sooners are there. She is one of the top young pitchers from smaller schools in the country by reputation. As a true freshman she was 20-6 with a 1.71 ERA and 170 Ks in 164 IP.

I expect that Houston will be improved in 2022 and McNeese State is always a challenge due to their fan base who will turn out in Houston. Texas State could be the best team of the 3.

Excellent. That means I get to see live games at least twice this year. I can see them both in Houston and when they come to Austin

I hope that OU goes out west a couple other times early in the season besides Mary Nutter. In Feb/March things can get pretty cold and the early season competition isn’t very strong in this region
