Oklahoma Women's Tennis Fall Schedule and 1st Weekend Play

The Oklahoma Sooners Women's Tennis Team announced their Fall Schedule on September 15th. Here is the schedule release.

As the article stated the Sooners have their entire #2 team in the country last Spring. #1 - Layne Sleeth, #2 - Carmen Corley, #3 - Ivana Corley, #4 - Dana Guzman, #5 - Alexandra Pisareva and #6 - Emma Staker. The team has two other roster players in Julia Garcia Ruiz (FR) from Morelia, Mexico and Natalia Jabrzemski (SR).

As the schedule announced, the Sooners had two players seeing action this weekend. Emma Staker (SOPH) and Dana Guzman (JR) participated in the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in Milwaukee, WI.
both players played singles and then played with each other in doubles. Here is the article about their play this weekend.

The next action for the Women's Tennis Team is two events that occur this weekend. Some of the Sooners will travel to the ITF Berkeley 60k in California on Sept. 19-25 while others will travel to the College Ranked Spotlight, hosted by NC State, on Sept. 22-25 in Cary, N.C.
