I thought it was impressive that she was able to pitch in the WCWS. Now I think it was remarkable that she did.

i am no doctor but i assume hair line fractures mostly just need time to heal.

I’m sure she will heal just fine.

I’m concerned about how the injury actually happened. Bones don’t just break throwing a ball - something else caused the split and the throw was just the straw that broke the back. Hairline Fx can be “repetitive motion” kinds of things and I’m a bit concerned she may have this injury recur. Knitted bones after healing a Fx are supposed to be stronger. I hope that’s true.
