Well......I sure missed on my call that May would pitch today. Obviously Coach Gasso was much less concerned with UCF's short game than I was!

I wonder the same thing but not being privy to the conversation she was having with the ump and given the announcing crew was as clueless as I was, they may have called multiple outs and Patty had to appeal to get it back to one. As a crew, I don't think the umps were on the same page.

I think that the first base coach, I am sorry I can't remember her name, thought Elam was safe at 2nd. I think she drove the request for reply.

Overall the volunteer coach at 1B has done a very good job this year. But Elam was out pretty easily on the force.
