Since the bottom of the 5th hasn't taken place, technically fans could stay and celebrate until the start of tomorrow's game but I'm sure there are cheaper places to do that.

LOL.....wow! that's great!

Well......I sure missed on my call that May would pitch today. Obviously Coach Gasso was much less concerned with UCF's short game than I was! ;)

I wonder the same thing but not being privy to the conversation she was having with the ump and given the announcing crew was as clueless as I was, they may have called multiple outs and Patty had to appeal to get it back to one. As a crew, I don't think the umps were on the same page.
I think that the first base coach, I am sorry I can't remember her name, thought Elam was safe at 2nd. I think she drove the request for reply.

Overall the volunteer coach at 1B has done a very good job this year. But Elam was out pretty easily on the force.

That's actually an understatement! It was a BOMB! She absolutely obliterated one. I'm still not sure it's landed. That smash not only left the yard, it left the stadium!

"Hey, Homerun Village... INCOMING!!"
I may not always be right, but I'm never wrong!
