UPDATE: Joe Bamisile Signs & Get’s Waiver for OU

Good news however; this is the first I heard about him needing a waiver from NCAA to be eligible for the 2022-2023 season (due to this being his second transfer).
Here's hoping that won't be a problem.

I know that Grant Sherfield received his waiver yesterday.
Has anyone heard if Bamisile has gotten his waiver yet?

As of July 1, (according to the Oklahoman) they both still needed a waiver. Grant's waiver has been announced, so I'm guessing Joe hasn't been notified as yet. That notification should be coming any time.

FYI,
I saw that JB was going to Europe with the team, but I searched and have not found out if the NCAA has issued a waiver for him yet. I've reached out to a couple of reporters that cover OU BB and haven't heard back.
I'm assuming that he can travel/play with the team in Europe because these aren't "official" games, but don't know that for sure.
Has anyone else heard the status of his waiver from the NCAA?

I would not be surprised if he ends up as one of our starting guards.
