Sooners Home Run chase

Here's a look at the season totals so far for HR's :
23 Jocelyn Alo
20 Tiare Jennings
17 Grace Lyons
13 Lynnsie Elam
12 Alyssa Brito
10 Jana Johns
7 Kinzie Hansen
6 Jayda Coleman
3 Taylon Snow
3 Grace Green
2 Rylie Boone
1 Sophia Nugent
1 Mackenzie Donihoo
118 Total
It's impressive to me to have 6 Sooners in double digits. But also not very far away are Hansen and Coleman who are close enough that by the end of the season they can reach double digit HR's as well.
Last year, we finished the season with 7 players in double digits and two more at 9. We still have over a dozen games left this year (hopefully!) so let's see if we can exceed last years numbers.
As an interesting sidebar...Tiare Jennings had 27 HR's last year plus the 20 so far this year--bringing her to 47-- has an opportunity over her career to also break Lauren Chamberlain's old HR record. Good Luck to Tiare on her run too.
