Alert: AP Pollsters Clueless Again

Post by OU Guy »

You have got to be kidding me! We’ve beat 3 top 15 teams so far! This is a disservice to the school and players and coach. What a crock! This team is playing at a top 15 level. Pollsters are not ranking on results which is flat wrong!

I guess going on the road against the #1 team in the country and have the game still in doubt with less than a minute to go (OU was down 5 and had the ball with 50 seconds left), and then taking down the #11 team in the country by 13 isn't a good enough week for the pollsters. Not exactly sure what you have to do to impress people these days. I guess it might help if the pollsters actually paid attention to the games, but then, that's asking too much.
I may not always be right, but I'm never wrong!

Winning in Austin tomorrow night will go along way in impressing these guys and not losing at TCU Saturday will help also.

I’m surprised, too, by the lack of love. Not too concerned about it so far, though. By start of Feb it will matter and it should resolve itself. Grit will prevail.

Simple formula in this Big12 bloodbath: Win your home games, steal 2-3 on the road. Lose 1-2 at home, make those up on the road. —> Land a 5-7 seeding.

Only 2 teams have beat 3 top 25 teams and OU is one of them. By any measure that is against the APs own ranked teams and should warrant ranking
