Tropical,

Amazing how memories and intuition work (ie Mendez). I can only hope that AP can be the player Mendy was! Nicole had to struggle with some injury issues in her career which is a real shame, and she still finished as one of the Legends in my opinion. That play where she went full speed into the wall in the WCWS to get a foul ball out says all you need to know about her heart and soul. She knocked the lens out of her sunglasses and got a cut on her face she was going so hard. She said in a post-game interview (paraphrased), "My team was giving their all, and I wanted to do the same."

Nicole Mendes. A true Warrior!

Yes! That play will go down as one of my all time favorites---along with a couple of Jayda Coleman wall climbers!!

Thanks for posting this 'TropicalSooner'. I hope that this one does not come back to bite the Sooners.

yes, me as well....

In the interest of keeping those interested on any late developments in the recruiting of the class of '25, we apparently had one last recruit on campus this last weekend (Iowa St weekend).
I think it is a real long shot for her to choose the Sooners, but at least she supposedly made the trip. I think she most likely winds up at Missouri....but we'll see I guess.

It'll be a while. She still has a couple more visits scheduled to take.

Ana Roman just committed to Alabama.
Like Kai Minor, she's legit.

At least some of the other highly rated commits are being spread around.....
Florida St
--Anna Hinde
--Harlie Chism
--Bella Dimitrijevic

Georgia
--Presley Harrison

Alabama
--Ana Roman

I was afraid they would all wind up at Fla St....
