Its mostly harmless and 40% goes to charity of top 2 schools with mostest. This place almost went out of business during Covid so its helping them rebuild. Its a great advertising gimmick too and I think its pretty cool. Sec is going to be different and road games will be amped more than normal as fans want to “prove” how much better they are than OU.

If they sell 30,000 shots thats $150,000 and $60,000 to charity.
Thanks. I should’ve realized that college baseball and Nebraska in combination would wholesomely shoot alcohol

Ran into this about when jello shots were invented:

Thomas Andrew Lehrer, born April 09, 1928 (I think he is still alive)

Lehrer was drafted into the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957, working at the National Security Agency (NSA). Lehrer has stated that he invented the Jello shot during this time, as a means of circumventing a naval base's ban on alcoholic beverages. Despite holding a master's degree in an era when American conscripts often lacked a high school diploma, Lehrer served as an enlisted soldier, achieving the rank of Specialist Third Class, which he described as being a "corporal without portfolio". These experiences became fodder for songs, such as "The Wild West is Where I Want to Be" and "It Makes a Fellow Proud to Be a Soldier". In 2020 Lehrer publicly revealed that he had been assigned to the NSA; since the mere fact of the NSA's existence was classified at the time, Lehrer found himself in the position of implicitly using nuclear weapons work as a cover story for something more sensitive.

From owner:

31,215 shots were sold last year, 27,367 have been sold this year. Will y'all break the collective record today or are y'all a little tired from the weekend?

For all the talk about the south/southeast lets look at drinking rates by county in the USA. Of course college night games will be an exception and LSU is tops in overdoing it
