I noticed that the Basketball thread is currently 6 pages and growing. Long threads can be slower and difficult to find things; I can't really do anything to speed up long threads. I assume that we have long thread is that otherwise it will get lost in all the football talk on Men's forum. It is easy to create a separate forum but it is up to how y'all want to do it.
Want to discuss here or we could have a poll? Polls are generally a good way to decide these things.
Options are
Keep it the way that it is now. In a few years, we can consult the Guiness Book of Worlds records and petition for title of longest thread
Create a Men's Basketball forum

You were just reading my mind because I was thinking the same thing with the monster mega-thread on Bball. There are several women's forums and it seems to work, add one for men's bball and it may get more discussion.

On the one hand, I like having everything on one forum, but on the other hand, anything BB related tends to just get buried because the main forum is mostly about football and always will be. So on balance, and to my own great surprise, I vote yes to a separate forum for the basketball team.
