The first hitter, as you might have figured out, was Kia Minor. 2025 grad - 26 Freshman. She has all five tools of the game BIG TIME!. By the way, she will bat leadoff for the Batbusters this summer.
The second hitter is Goose Hutchins. The Catcher from Wagoner, OK and a Class of 2027 HS player. From what I understand, she is a probable OU commit as soon as she can say yes. I think she is still 15 right now. She will play on the Iowa Premier 18U team this summer. Her favorite player is Kinzie Hansen. I was told recently that she could be the best prospect by far in the 2027 class. BTW, she is a switch hitter which is a bit rare. She has uncommon power.

Apparently, Goose Hutchins plays up a level and is on the same 18U team as Chaney Helton. Another poster on another site showed a tweet about their team going to be in Allen Tx June 7-8. Her (Hutchins) and her Mom and Dad follow him on twitter and any time he makes an offhand comment about her signing with OU they like his tweet. And they often like his OU retweets too.
The other thing is that apparently there was an OU camp this weekend that many if not all the class of '25 attended. Here is a tweet from Sophia Bordi:
And Kendall Wells:
Wells, Minor, Bordi, and Berkley Zache

Those four class of 2025 players are: Allyssa Parker P/SS, I think Kendall Wells (C/3B), Sophia Bordi (P/UT) and Kia Minor (OF).
I have noticed that Bordi has really slimmed down in the last year. Must be working out hard.

Yes, she is playing on the Iowa Premier team this year with Helton (OF) and and Riley Zache (C/UT) both 2024 signees. It sounds like that Hudgens will be the primary catcher.TropicalSooner wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 3:58 pm Apparently, Goose Hutchins plays up a level and is on the same 18U team as Chaney Helton. Effortless Power is the impression I got from the Miloy and Hutchins batting videos. Whoa! Knocked it OUT of the stadium several times - and one blast by Hutchins was off the scoreboard that Plank said would likely never be hit. Incredible!

Some more '26s:
Liv Keiter
Stevie South
And a couple of '27s:
Bayleigh Taylor
Brielle Gardiner
Must have been a pretty large camp.

If they can hold camps and batting practice at Love's Field why can't they squeeze in some practice time there ? I've been wondering why they couldn't get some practice in at night after workers had left .

The camp photos are all from Marita Hynes. The batting practice after the game can happen probably because all the construction equipment and materials have been put away for game day already. On a normal day I don’t think all the stuff gets put away during the night.
