Dang! Had a RISP on 2nd with Tiare at bat and couldn't get the tying run. Guiterrez is benefiting from unusually good defense from her teammates.
texas fielding is having the game of their life. They probably won't be able to duplicate again (hopefully at least not tomorrow). They are wanting this win desparately.

We don't have the pitching to win a title this year
texas is the second best batting team behind us. I think we can beat them in OKC 2 out of 3 easy. They are primed for this win for them after so many losses to us.

Texas loads the bases, nobody out. It's looking like it Texas' day. Hate to say it, but Patty outcoached herself when she relieved Deal.
Agreed - Monticelli isn't ready for this. Deal probably had the best shot to keep things in check.
We got lucky on a hit - a texas runner left early. So texas doesn't score and the runner is out. We get another out, but then Kenney just walked the batter. Bases loaded, bottom of the 6th with 2 outs, texas leading 2-1.
I think Patty out coached herself when she didn't pull May earlier. Once they got that 3 or 4th hit off May and got the lead, they had all the momentum. I can't stand to watch Texas celebrate and to listen to ladies from ESPN do cheers for Texas. I had to turn it off
