Our hitting going forward
If someone hires JT Gasso away from OU, I would like Patty to interview the hitting coach for Miami of Ohio! It's impressive what he's been able to achieve with ball players that are not all that highly recruited.

I'd guess she likes that So. Louisiana cuisine. (I would think they might have cajun restaurants in her home town of Destin, FL)

Seems to me that the gulf coast towns in MS and AL are quite aware of Cajun recipes and promote them in area restaurants. I would guess that their popularity continues at least somewhat into the FL panhandle. However, I don't think the Brits dumped the Acadians off as far east as MS.

After living in Lake Charles for nearly 20 years, I'm here to tell ya that you can become very fond of cajun cookin'.

"Talk About" Summer jobs in college(OU) My uncle in NOLA got me jobs in the oil fields, one year out of New Iberia, and another out of Houma. In the 1980's, I went down to the Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge, I remember(barely) getting smashed in the midday sun on Dixie beer. I bought a big package of crawfish tails in Lafayette, to take back to Dallas, where I lived at the time.

It's one of the Great Tastes in food! There's a restaurant in PHX AZ, where I live, that does crawfish etouffet right. Whenever I'm in that part of the city, I eat there. The "seafood gumbo" is also top notch!TropicalSooner wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:13 am Give me a dish of crawfish etouffee anytime....yummm
Sorry to get so diverted from the original subject of this thread, but Cajun food is THAT good!
