Man that is so great to hear. Baker is maybe my favorite Sooner QB ever. For more than just his play on the field, but also for the
GREAT individual he is. Baker has achieved what he has done, threw hard work & focus more than just talent. What a great roll
model for any young man coming up threw the ranks. God Bless You Baker.

Baker wins the precision passing contest at the pro bowl beating out all the other QBs…




The contest was actually pretty difficult, small targets moving in various directions at different distances and a few stationary targets at greater distances that went away after a contestant hit them. Each QB had only 6 or so throws to make points, The targets were not big. Baker won the NFC then competed against the AFC champ which was CJ Stroud. Baker beat CJ Stround in the finale.

I can see why Dak Prescott backed out of the competition, Dak would not do well since accuracy and timing were both needed…..



CeeDee Lamb caught the last ball in dodge ball to seal the Dodgeball Winn for the NFC

Rest of the Pro Bowl extravaganza is this weekend. I wonder if in the flag football part this weekend we will see Baker throw to CeeDee……

Thanks for posting this Zgeo.

Although most folks (even non-NFL haters) don't follow the Pro-Bowl, all the NFL does. So for Baker this means all the General Managers in the League, as well as players. Free Agents want to be on a team with a QB that gives them a shot. Baker makes himself more attractive and valuable. Great for him.

You are right. The Precision Passing was not easy and Baker beat the other pro bowl QBs…..the NFL execs see that as another “Pro Day” against the best current QBs….

Okay, thanks Zgeo. It took him long enough. Colin couldn't see that for most of Baker's pro career so far, he didn't have very good pass protection, and therefore Colin's assessment of Mayfield's performances was unreasonably harsh.
