OU Men's & Women's Track & Field Teams at Charlie Thomas Meet

The Oklahoma Track & Field Teams will compete in the Charlie Thomas Invitational i=at Texas A&M on Saturday. Field events are set to begin at 10 a.m. CT and running events will start at 2:15 p.m. CT. 41 Sooners will compete Saturday. The Charlie Thomas Invitational will be live streamed via SECN+, beginning at 3 p.m. CT. Live results can be found via Flash Results.

The Oklahoma Sooners Men's and Women's Track & Field Team performed well at the Charlie Thomas Invitational in College Station, TX on Saturday. Four Sooner women finished with first place victories at the meet to lead the Sooner effort.
  • Women's pole vaulter Olivia Lueking dominated the field with a 4.41 (14-5.50) mark. Lueking's height accounts for her best of the season and a new R.A. Fasken "Murrary" '38 facility record and Charlie Thomas Invite record. Lueking now stands at No. 5 in in the NCAA.
  • Kassidy Gallagher opened the meet with first place in the women's weight throw where she tossed to 20.09 (65-11).
  • To follow the weight throw, senior Paige Low took first place in the women's shot put with a 16.55 (54-3.75) mark.
  • Kailynn Jackson took the best time and a gold medal in the women's 800m with a personal-best 2:14.35 time.
