The Second Transfer Window Dec 1st thru 15th

Another poster away has mentioned that the 2nd transfer window is coming up Dec 1st through Dec 15th, and then followed up with the question "With only 15 position players, will Patty be active in the second window?"
Off the top of my head, I'm inclined to say no. We have been though Fall Training now and all the Battle Series and are getting people comfortable with new positions and getting timing down right. Any new additions to me would only delay the fitting in of the team dynamic and timing issues. I guess it wouldn't be totally impossible though. I just don't expect it. Perhaps it would matter as to who it was that entered the portal.
I have a question though for all of you that have followed the team a lot longer than I have:
Has Patty ever taken another player in the December Portal? I guess maybe G Juarez might have been such an add.
And the follow up to that: Have we ever lost a player in the December Window? I guess perhaps the strange case of Alexx Waitman might fall into that category, even though she continued to be on the roster all the way up until June and entered the portal during the normal process at that time. Alexx never played a game and to my knowledge, I'm not really sure if she even attended any practices in the fall. Indeed a strange case, but I don't think it was an outgoing transfer in December.
Anyone know of any others?

You are right, Juarez was a Dec transfer to OU from ASU. Outsiders later claimed OU was allowed to pickup Juarez somewhat illegally but I have never heard exactly why. But by today's standard, Juarez was reportedly being bullied by ASU players. The transfer would never be questioned today.

The Waitman saga is a mystery. She might have attended practice once. She was an official summer transfer after a redshirt season. She will likely never be more than a bench player at OSU. One might say a mistake ot both schools.

I doubt we see too much activity this December Portal.

Does OU really need anyone. Only insurance for Sanders' injury or for Keeney's injury could cause a need.

The transfer rules changed this year. Mid-year transfers are no longer eligible to play immediately in the Spring.

I agree up to a point however IF atop player or pitcher pops up Patty might take someone.It would give her time to acclimate the player to OUr culture and play .

It looks like it is Angelina Craig that entered the portal. She was listed on the roster as an OF last year as a freshman and she mainly was a pinch runner for the Cowgirls. She is from Illinois.

The article says that she was in the mix as a catcher, but the Cowgirls have three catchers; Wang a transfer starter from Liberty who probably will be the starter at OSU for one year. the other two are Schneidmiller, a junior who may be the best defensive catcher in Stillwater and then a freshman Pickelsimer.

We are close to this window closing for this period. I think most of the 'Transfer Portal' Information is behind paywalls unless posted on Robo or elsewhere.
I don't have access to any of the paysites, but for anyone who does, did any players of note hit the portal this period? I would really expect not...but you never know I guess.

No big name entered the portal. Glad the NCAA closed that loop hole for non-grad transfers.

Well.....yeah but......
I guess that TRO that W Va judge issued (probably was thinking for football---but all the other sports gets caught up in it too---keeps the opportunity to transfer anywhere (for the next two days for softball) without having to sit out a year.
So, I guess if a gal wants to change schools and play for them this coming February....you got two days to do it.

The ruling is for transferring multiple times without needing a waver to be eligible. Not sure how does it affect December transferring when it is the first time you transferred.
