Final Fall Ball OU Softball Game Tonight @ 6 PM at Marita Hynes

It sounds like the final OU 2023 Fall Ball Softball Game, Battle Series Game #6 (5 have been played) will be played at 6 PM tonight. Coach Gasso said that with a lot of determination last night at the 2024 Signing Event at the Noun Hotel. The players seem to agree with that.

It looks a little like light rain in the afternoon, but it should clear up by game time. It won't be a day for shorts either. I suggest several layers be worn so wet layers cn be shed as needed or either have very good rainsuit.

What is needed to see in this final game.

1. Ella Parker play again tonight. A HR would be a bonus.
2. Kiersten Deal pitch well.
3. Good play at SS.
4. Lots of pitches hit really hard, mostly right at defenders. (Having you cake and eating it too, maybe.)
5. No injuries at all.
6. Maybe we get to see NellieMac play 3B and run the bases at half speed.

I think the Sooners have done most everything they needed to do this fall. Keeney not being able to pitch and Sanders' injury aside, the Fall has shown great promise for the 2024 season. I am not sure that SS job has been filled yet but it will be by the time of the first game. The Sooners play Duke and Washington that first weekend so SS needs to be settled by then.

This just might be the last game in Marita Hynes tonight. It would be a shame to have a ticket and not show up to cheer for your Sooners!
