OKC Spark Are Back HOME to Host a 3 Game Series with the Vipers July 24-26

Welcome Home to our Professional Softball Team. The Spark has been on the road it seems like forever, even across the pond for international games. In fact, they haven't been home since July 3rd!
But we have our team back home now, so everybody that can, go out tonight and welcome them home and cheer them on as they face off against the Vipers from Alabama.
First pitch is at 7:00pm at HOF Stadium.

It's good to have Alo back in the lineup again. Yeah....she's been there now for a couple of games....but also good to have the team back home!

The Spark have retaken 1st place with the win last night and after the Pride from Florida crushed the Texas Smoke 11-5. The Pride have a solid hold on 3rd place in the league and are very tight to the top two spots. It looks like a solid 3 way race to the end of the season.

Also, Alex Storako was put in as a pinch runner for Leilua last night in the bottom of the 3rd inning and scored her first run for the spark! I haven't researched this yet, but she never hit for the Sooners and I don't think she ever did for Michigan either. It may have been her first run scored ever!

RE: Last night's game -- Spark v Vipers
Alo hit a grand slam HR in the B 4 and the Spark hung on and made it stick to get a win over the Vipers 4-1.

Also, earlier in the day, the Spark played a make up game, apparently, at UCO Stadium, and the Spark won 7-1.

Next game is against the Pride from Florida at 7pm on Friday July 28th. They will have a 3 game series with the Pride Fri-Sun at HOF Stadium.
The Pride is solidly in 3rd place not far behind our 2nd place Spark.
