I think it's great how this new site is setting up. I was wondering if there will be a Women's BB forum? A new coach, new recruits, and a new attitude, I think we may have the beginnings of something special this year.

Wow, you are behind. Sherri retired in March. We hired Jennie Baranczyk as the head coach. All of the assistant coaches are new. One of them is former OU men's player Michael Neal.

Short version. Played collegiately at Iowa. Three time All Big 10 selection. Spent the last 9 years as the head coach at Drake in the Missouri Valley Conference. Six consecutive 20-win seasons. Three NCAA tournament berths.
Looks like a promising hire to me. I've seen several of her interviews and she makes a good impression.

I agree with this completely. JB and her staff have stepped up and got things moving in the right direction in a hurry. She is engaged and apparently is seeing early "fruit" in the 2022 national prospects that are interested. Though fairly young, I look forward to an exciting season.AustinTXSooner wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 3:48 pmWow, you are behind. Sherri retired in March. We hired Jennie Baranczyk as the head coach.
