All those games were played at HOF in OKC....so it is unfair advantage!
JUST KIDDING and poking fun at all the misplaced backlash.
How many of those games were road or neutral site games? I can think of several big time games played away from OK this year! (And, at the time the game was played, UCLA was #1....and I have no problem counting #1 (be whooped 14-0) on that win list....though it does not technically fit your criteria as to the Final Rankings for the regular season.)
Boomer! The more I learn the more impressed I am! We also are the first team with three consecutive 500 runs scored in a season! The more I start to take notes of all the stats, the more I am convinced there has never been a team like this one (and over the past three years) that compares!
Someone will compile the final stats and records sheet for this year and over the course of this historic three-peat. A bit anecdotally, I did see it on another site: the comparitive three-peat seasons between ou and ucla (or is it Arizona?) wins vs loss records. OU owns that match-up, too.
My little ditty: OU wins where it plays, not plays where it wins!
