I really hate being negative, but I don't know what to think. Here we are, trying to rebuild a team yet again. Are the leaving players just not comfortable with Moser's basketball philosophy ? Or do they realize that the team is not athletic enough to compete in the Big XII and expect another bottom finish next year if they stay? Better to be a big fish in a little pond as the old saying goes.
Could it be that they have been shown the door so that Moser can have the scholarships available to bring in more athletic players?
And now we have 4 new players signed with a potential of a couple more. I don't know how to evaluate the portal entries. Are they any better than the players that have just left? Is the basketball program getting enough NIL participation to actually get the better players interested in playing in Norman?
Can Moser turn around the program or is it going to be another long season?
I will hope for the best. I remember Tubbs talking about his 1st team in Norman. "This year we will run and shoot. Next year we will run and score." Maybe this coming year, Moser can get rid of the plateaus and have a chance to pull it out at the end.
Any thoughts?

I am with you and don’t know what to think. Seems like Moser is the type of coach who needs to have guys around for a few years to instill his culture. But that’s exactly what he can’t do with the portal yanking guys out like it does

He was actually announced above on Apr 27. From what I read elsewhere, the Sooners still have 2 open scholarships and are hoping to get a power forward.

Yes this just made it more official and had coaches comments. Still 2 and we are hot on trail of some good ones. I think Moser turns it around this year

OU offers Zuby Ejiofor again. He was one of the first offers PM made after getting the job at OU. It didn't work out then, maybe the 2nd time will be the charm.

I just saw where the Sooners added another player from the portal: small forward Jalon Moore from Georgia Tech.

Yup, this is getting to where Moser has some pieces to make playoffs imo
