The Oklahoma Sooner Volleyball Team won their exhibition match over the Central Arkansas Bears on Friday night by a score of 3-0 officially but played all 5 sets to finish 4-1 on the night.
From social media the starters were:
Dunn #4 - (SOPH) Setter
Wilson #3 - (SOPH) OH
Oliver #11 - (GR SR) MB
Perkins #21 - (FR) MB
Davison #9 - (GR SR) OH
Shelton #12 - (FR) OH
Kemohah #10 - (SOPH) Libero
I would guess that the Kemohah replaced one of the MB as the match started.
Here is the staff writers article about the exhibition win:

As the article states the Sooners had 3 players with double digit kills. Wilson had 15, while Perkins and Shelton had 10 each. Davison added 9 kills to the effort as well. I think that bodes very well for the sooners to be able to have 4 players capable of reaching double digit kills. In 2021, in 27 matches, the Sooners totaled 8 games in which they had 3 players with double digit kills. I found no matches where the Sooners had as many as 4 players with 9 or more kills.
All-in-all it sounds like the Sooners had a very successful trip to Fort Smith in their final tune-up for the season. The 2022 season starts in earnest on Friday night at McCasland Field House at 7 PM against Gonzaga as they start their home OU Invitational 4-team round robin tourney. The sooners follow with matches against Iowa on Saturday at 5 PM and Florida International on Sunday at 1 PM.
The Sooners faced Gonzaga in 2021 with the Sooners wining the match 3-0. But the 3 sets were close as the Sooners won by a total of 10 points in the 3 games.
Congrats to the Sooners VB'ers on the exhibition win.
