Thanks everyone for your replies.
A follow-up question--- when do classes start for this fall at OU? and when do we expect our new freshmen to be to be on campus? (I think generally a week before classes?)

Yowza! Don't know how good of a pitcher she is, but Storako is certainly easy on the eyes! :eyes:

Her stats are Michigan were very impressive
Storako spent the last four seasons at Michigan and is a graduate transfer with a single season of eligibility remaining.

An All-American pitcher in 2021, Storako was the unanimous Big Ten Pitcher of the Year that season. She finishes her Wolverine career with a 1.71 lifetime ERA, 69 wins, and 901 strikeouts in more than 563 innings of work. This season, Storako reached the 300-strikeout plateau for the first time in her career. She also earned a career-high 25 wins in the circle.

Interesting development in the portal reported by D1 Softball.

Brooke Yanez, Oregon 5th year LH pitcher, is entering the portal. She is a legit #1. I am surprised quite a bit with her coming off an injury.

Coach Lombardi must be confused about this as well.

Wow. Didn't see that coming.
I'm happy with Storako though.
Did the WS player Barnard ever enter the portal? I heard her sister signed up there so it doesn't seem to me that she would, but you never know I guess. There was a lot of smoke about her for awhile.
Also, would you let us know if you see any transfers into (or out of I guess) the Big 12 schools, that might be of interest to us....since we'll be facing them next season. Thanks for all the info you post '56.

These two players are in the portal right now.

Rachel Cid (Oregon) - She would be a 5th YR SR - Good relationship with Brito and would be a good fit for the infield, Possibly plays 3rd as a replacement for Johns. she has a .287 lifetime average with about 6 doubles and 6 HRs per season. Career .954 fielder.

Alynah Torres (Arizona State) - She would have two seasons of eligibility left. She is an Infielder (SS) with a good bat. She hit .339 with 16 home runs in 2022. Plays SS. Career .325ish hitter with 37 HRs in 3 seasons for her career. 24 errors with a .935ish fielding %.

I have not noticed any others that are interesting to me yet.

So what is that song?..."I'm not one to go around spreading rumors..."

But maybe I am. I heard from someone who lives in Wichita, that the rumor about Addison coming to OU just may have some merit. I heard the transfer is a distinct possibility. "and that's all I have to say bout that".

(Except I make no insider claims or put any guarantees to my source. Just that there is talk about this in the town of that program)
