Except for the last 3 minutes of the 1st half, Oklahoma controlled this game.
Even given that Baylor could not hit the broad side of the barn with their 3-pt shooting (3 of 19 vs. 11 of 21 for the Sooners), you could feel that OU wanted this game so much more.
No rest for the weary, Sooners will play Texas Tech tomorrow night and the way the referees are not calling fouls, we had better be ready for a mugging.
Franchilla believes that a win tomorrow and OU will get an NCAA tournament bid. Iffy if they do not win.

I think the Sooners are in MM with this win over Baylor, they now have 6 wins versus top 15 teams.....all the Sooners need to do is NOT turn over the ball and they can play with anyone......

Men's Basketball - Down goes Baylor - OU upsets the Bears !!!
The Oklahoma Sooners won their fourth game in a row last night and defeated the #1 Seed and the #3 team in the country 72-67. After trailing Baylor by 6 at halftime (it could have been as little as 3 or maybe tied up), the Sooners might have played their best half of basketball and outscored Baylor 45 to 34 to win the game by 7 points. The Sooners did it with balanced scoring as 5 Sooners scored between 10 and 15 points. Jacob Groves lead with 15 points (maybe the first time this year he did this). Great job Sooners!
Here is the post-game staff writers article about the game.

The Sooners play again tonight against Texas Tech at 8:30 in Kansas City. The Sooners split the season series with Tech. The Sooners won by 14 in Norman and lost by 22 in Lubbock. Tech defeated Iowa State by 31 on Thursday.

Really didn't think it would happen, but was so proud of the team. They were tough, finally hit key shots and played great defense. Hope they can shock again against TT.
