Wow - what a job by May to set the last 6 down in order. Those last 2 in the 7th were scary good hitters. Maybe one of them will transfer to OU next year........

Nic is the closer I want for the rest of the way. She's always had 'ice' in her veins....going all the way back to her freshman year.

I agree - Nicole has turned into the maybe closer and I'm super happy for her. She had kinda played second fiddle her whole time at OU - there would be nothing more fitting than for her to be the one on the mound when we win #4 in a row!

Agreed!! In the past, she has sometimes been shaky, but the past few weeks has been nails. Every pitcher we had throw against FSU was hit pretty hard, except Nicole. 6 up, 6 down, and not one of those girls had a good swing against her. She'd be my MVP for that game (with all due respect to Coleman's catch at the wall). FSU could have easily taken the lead in those last 2 innings but May slammed the door. So happy for her!!
