Aycock has given up 6 walks out of the 16 batters that she has faced, we have 2 runs, one hit.

Maxwell, on the other hand, has given up 3 hits and 2 walks (2 doubles by Godwin) and we have a tie game in the bottom of the 3rd, due to a double-play that got the Pokes out of the inning.

Maxwell is serving up some fat pitches, it would seem: two doubles to Godwin, now a solo homer to Wark. We trail 3-2... and getting outhit by the Pokes 4-1.

We are a better-hitting team than this! Come on, Sooners, get those bats to going!

Not good. Kierston comes in and gives up a leadoff homer to Poullard. Trailing 4-2 and Kilfoyl in the circle for the Pokes.

And now another dinger, this one a 2 run shot by Godwin. 6-2 Pokes. They are looking like OU , the way they're swingin' the bats.

This is really discouraging, the Aggies roughing up what I'd consider our top two pitchers, and no cheap stuff, they are just flat-out knocking the cover off the ball!

6-2 after 4 1/2 innings. As expected, Texas is kicking butt in Lubbock 13-2 after 5.

Keeney pitching. Aggy putting in their subs to bat against us, now. Our under-performing season coming home to roost. Aggy hits the ball hard, but we still get 3 straight outs. To bottom of 6th. We gotta have 4 runs pronto!

If we lose, as appears a strong possibility, the tone for the rest of the game was set in the bottom of the 1st inning. OU up by 1-0 (thanks to 4 walks), bases juiced, and one out.

So, what happens? Parker and Torres fly out to the Poke outfielders, we leave the bases loaded.

Torres just did what she shoulda done in the 1st! A double to get the first hit off Kilfoyl!

Sanders got lucky, the Poke 3rd baseman dropped what should have been a foul ball out. Gets the walk, 2 on, brings up Rylie Boone, who pops up for the 2nd out.

It's up to Jayda, 2 on, and 2 out. Infield single! RBI makes it 6-3, but Pickering flies out with runners on 1st & 3rd to end the inning.

Pokes go 1-2-3 in the top of the 7th, and we have to solve Kilfoyl for 3 runs in the bottom of the inning. Not feeling optimistic...

Lack of off speed pitching has been a weakness all year. Disappointing that pitching staff has not seen necessity of developing.

TORRES GETS A HIT! 2B Sanders comes to bat. She walks. Boone to bat. Pop out. 2 outs Coleman up. She gets an infield single and we score a run. Pickering at bat. She flies out. We're down 3. 7th inning now.
