Kierston Deal was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week for her two starts in the circle for OU after her two starts against Tulsa and Houston this week.

In the two games, Deal pitched 13. 0 innings, allowing 2 singles, 1 walk, 14 strikeouts for 2 CG Shutouts. That is truly an excellent performance by Ms. Deal.

KD seems to have reached another level lately. Good for her! From what I could parse as to why, it is that she stopped trying so hard to be perfect....and started being a pitcher instead.
