I'm not sure that it's so much any kind of systemic issue within the program myself. But there are some curious events that seemed to have convergence.

The first thing to discuss is the weather. I think that all the games might get played today. If they get started by Noon or 1 PM, at least three games will likely get played. ESPN really wants that Texas-Stanford game to be played in prime time...

ESPN cares about Eyeballs more than Softballs for sure. Texas is a huge market (along with Cali and Fla). Not surprised at the hype and extra attention for potential big ad revenue. Hope it puts a chip squarely on the Sooner ladies' shoulders!
