Same way OU did it ... 1) Defense. ( Yes, Defense STILL WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS!!) + physicality on both sides 2) effective running game. 3) efficient offense. (Heup's dink and dunk + Mangino's Running game. vs Meatchicken's running passing qb + running attack)

According to NCAA stats, we finished the season ranked number 78 so we went from 120 something to 78. so that’s an improvement of 42 spots so BV stays on course for what he did at Clemson. OU should have a top 25 defense next year.

Disclaminer I am in NO way endorsing Muleshoe .. However when we ran air raid .. and QB running was unplanned scrambles, which is very hard to defend, the offense seemed to click. Except for 2021 when it was intentional sabotaged AND the number of Stoops/Schmitty hold over players were at a low.
